Why It Matters

Homeowners judge your roofing work by your website first.

A $9,000 first impression

The average roofing job is worth around $9,000, and homeowners research before they call. A slow or dated website makes them assume the same about your roofs — and hire the roofer who looks more established.

Built to convert storm & insurance work

Dedicated storm-damage and insurance-claim pages, real project galleries, and financing options capture the urgent, high-ticket jobs that a generic website lets slip away.

Mobile-first, lightning fast

Most roofing searches happen on a phone. A fast, mobile-first site never loses a lead to a slow page — and Google rewards it with better rankings.

Our Research

We measured the competition. Most of it is unattended.

Before we say what we would build for your roofing company, here is what we found when we measured the competition. Our first run checked 51 small, independent US contractor sites in October 2026, across roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and landscaping, on a throttled phone connection — the way a homeowner actually arrives. The results say more about the standard you are being compared against than any pitch could.

The median site takes 9.8 seconds to show anything

Not the worst case — the median. The worst was forty seconds. A homeowner with a burst pipe does not wait nine seconds; they hit back and call the next result.

94% fail Google's speed threshold

Google publishes 2.5 seconds as the line between good and poor. 94% of these sites were on the wrong side of it and half took over ten seconds. This is not a tail of bad sites, it is the norm.

The median homepage weighs 2.5MB

A quarter were over five megabytes. The heaviest single page we measured was forty-six — roughly a feature film trailer, delivered to someone standing in their driveway on cellular data.

The median performance score is 60 out of 100

36% scored under 50, which is Google's red band. The bar in this industry is on the floor, which cuts both ways: it is why a fast site stands out, and why "we built you a website" means almost nothing on its own.

Most have too little traffic to measure

Google held real-user performance data for only seven of the fifty sites. For the other forty-three, not enough people visit for Google to have measured anything at all.

Three still are not on HTTPS

6% send a homeowner's phone number over plain HTTP in 2026, and Chrome warns the visitor before they ever see the page.

How We Work

Four steps, in this order.

We start from how the job is actually searched

A roofer's customer is usually on a phone, often in a hurry, and deciding between three tabs. The structure follows from that rather than from a template.

We build it fast first, decorate second

Speed is a design constraint, not a cleanup task. Compressed, correctly sized images and no third-party scripts nobody asked for — which is most of the 2.5MB median.

Every service gets a page that can rank

One Services page with a bulleted list cannot compete for a dozen different service-and-town searches. Separate pages, each able to earn its own ranking.

We hand it over owning it

The site is yours in writing before you sign anything. Leased sites you lose when you leave are common in this trade and we do not do them.

What It Costs

The price, before you have to ask.

Most agencies in this trade will not put a number on a page. We would rather you knew now than spent a call finding out. The website build is free in every plan — no setup fee, no build fee — and you own it from the day it goes live.

Surge · $399/mo

The starting point for a roofing company ready to invest in growth. $319/mo billed yearly.

Local Leader · $1,499/mo

The complete system, for companies that intend to lead the market rather than appear in it. $1,199/mo billed yearly.

Enterprise · from $5,999/mo

Franchises and operations running five or more locations. From $4,799/mo billed yearly.

No long contracts and no setup fees. If you leave you keep the website, the domain, the Google Business Profile and the analytics — ask every agency you speak to for that in writing. See what is in each plan.

FAQ

Roofing web design — common questions.

A custom, high-converting roofing website is included with every Local Leader package. The standard $7,500 build fee is waived — we earn on the marketing that grows your roofing business, not on the build, so we only win when you do.

Most roofing websites launch in about 2 to 4 weeks. Timing depends on how quickly we get your photos, reviews, and service details — we handle the design, copywriting, and build, and keep the process moving so you're live and capturing leads fast.

Yes. The website is built for your roofing business and your brand — you keep your domain, your content, and your leads. We manage the hosting, updates, and ongoing optimization so it keeps performing.

Every roofing site is built on an SEO-ready foundation — fast load times, clean structure, mobile-first design, and local schema — so it's positioned to rank. Pair it with our roofing SEO service for ongoing ranking growth.

Yes. Every site is built mobile-first and tuned for Core Web Vitals, so it loads quickly on a phone — where most homeowners find a roofer. Fast, mobile-friendly pages rank better and lose fewer leads to slow load times.

Yes. We regularly redesign dated roofing websites and migrate them to a faster, mobile-first, conversion-focused build. We protect your existing rankings by mapping old URLs, keeping your content structure intact, and setting up redirects — so you don't lose SEO equity in the move.

Because it is measurable and we will measure it in front of you. Our first run checked 51 small, independent US contractor sites in October 2026 and found a median mobile load of 9.8 seconds, with 94% failing Google's 2.5-second threshold. We will run the same test on your current site before we start and again when it is live.

The build is free and we earn on the monthly marketing that follows. The catch, stated plainly, is that it only works if we are confident we can rank the site — so we do not take on every company that asks. You own the site either way, and that is in writing before you sign.

Sometimes fixing is right, and we will say so. If the bones are sound and the problem is weight, images and missing structure, that is a few days of work rather than a rebuild. If it is on a platform that will not let you add a page per service and per town, no amount of fixing gets you there.
