Who these terms are between
They are between you and Local Leader, and they apply whenever you use this website. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
If you are using the site for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms on that business's behalf.
What this website is
This site exists to describe what we do, to let you read about it, and to let you get in touch. That is its whole purpose.
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of being accepted, and submitting a form does not create any agreement between us. It starts a conversation, nothing more. We may decline any enquiry, for any reason, without explanation.
The agreement that actually governs our work
If we go on to work together, that work is governed by a separate written agreement between us. That agreement sets out what is being delivered, what it costs, how long it runs, how either side can end it, and everything else that matters.
This page deliberately does not attempt to describe any of that. Where these terms and a signed agreement say different things, the signed agreement takes precedence for everything it covers.
About marketing generally
Marketing results depend on a great many things that nobody controls — the market you work in, what your competitors do, how search engines and advertising platforms choose to behave, and how your own business responds to the enquiries it receives.
Nothing on this site is a guarantee of any particular outcome. Descriptions of our approach, examples of previous work, and any figures shown are illustrative. They describe what has happened, not what will happen for you. Any commitment we are prepared to make will be written into an agreement and signed.
Using the site properly
You agree not to:
- Use the site unlawfully, or to do anything unlawful
- Submit information that is false, or that belongs to somebody else without their permission
- Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, or any system behind it, that is not meant for you
- Interfere with the site's operation, or place an unreasonable load on it
- Copy, scrape or republish the site's content for your own commercial use
- Use the site to send anything abusive, deceptive or automated in bulk
We can restrict or withdraw access to the site if we reasonably believe any of this is happening.
What belongs to whom
The content of this site — its words, design, graphics, logos and code — belongs to us or to whoever licensed it to us, and is protected by law. You may read it, and share a link to it. You may not reproduce it as your own.
Anything you send us through the site remains yours. By sending it, you give us permission to use it for the purpose of responding to you and considering whether to work together.
Other companies' names and marks appearing on this site belong to those companies, and are used only to describe or refer to them.
What you send us
Please send accurate information, and please do not send anything confidential or sensitive through a web form. A form is not a secure channel, and we cannot treat what arrives through one as confidential.
What we do with the information you send is described in our privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Where we link to somebody else's site, we do so because we think it is useful. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement.
The site is provided as it is
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time, without notice.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site, nor for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost business or lost data.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Any liability relating to work we carry out for a client is dealt with in the agreement covering that work, not here.
Standing behind what you do
If your use of this site breaks these terms or the law, and that causes us loss or a claim from somebody else, you agree to cover the reasonable cost of it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version. The terms in force when you use the site are the ones that apply.
General
If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given it up. These terms are between you and us, and nobody else acquires rights under them.
These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Local Leader is established, and the courts there have jurisdiction. Where we have signed an agreement with you, that agreement's own governing law and jurisdiction apply to anything it covers.
