HVAC · SEO

HVAC SEO that gets you called the moment systems fail.

When an AC dies on a 95° day, the homeowner searches "AC repair near me" and calls whoever's at the top of Google. We build the complete SEO system that puts you there — starting with full Google Business Profile optimization, plus local search rankings, reviews and city pages — so you win the speed-to-lead race in both cooling and heating season.

Why It Matters

HVAC is a speed-to-lead business — and it starts on Google.

62% book the first responder

Most homeowners hire the first HVAC contractor to respond. If you're not ranked at the top for "AC repair near me," they never reach you — they call whoever appears first.

Demand spikes overnight

A heatwave or cold snap sends emergency searches through the roof. Strong HVAC SEO means you're already ranked when that surge hits — instead of missing the calls that define your busy season.

Year-round, not seasonal

SEO keeps working month after month. It captures AC searches in summer, furnace searches in winter, and maintenance searches in between — a steady lead flow every month.

Our Research

We measured the competition. Most of it is unattended.

Before we say what we would do for your HVAC company, here is what we found when we went and measured the competition. We measured 500 small, independent US contractor businesses in October 2026, across roofing, plumbing, HVAC, electrical and landscaping — 334 of them served a site we could read — for the things that decide whether Google and the AI answer engines can understand a business at all. Most of what is wrong is not competitive — it is unattended.

Nearly half have never told Google what they are

49% had no LocalBusiness schema — the one format built for stating what a business does and where. A further quarter had structured data a plugin added for them, which describes the website and says nothing about the business.

A sixth have no structured data at all

16% carried not a single line of JSON-LD. To an AI answer engine deciding who to name for a trade in a city, those businesses are prose to be guessed at rather than a record to be read.

Two thirds have no page aimed at your town

64% have no real service-and-location architecture, and half have not a single page aimed at a town. The search a homeowner actually types — the trade plus the place — has nothing on their site pointed at it.

More than a third ask Google to pick between duplicates

37% of the sites we read reused one title across several pages. That asks Google to choose between pages all claiming to be the same thing. It usually picks the home page, and the service pages never surface.

A third have a page with no H1

34% had at least one page with no H1 at all. Small on its own, and a reliable sign that nobody has looked at the page the way a search engine does.

A third cannot be read at all

18% had no sitemap, and a third of the businesses we pulled from public listings served nothing we could read — parked, blocked, timed out or simply gone. Every citation pointing there is a dead end, and the owner almost certainly does not know.

The cheapest paid lead still charges you for every job

Local Services Ads are the cheapest paid route into HVAC work — $45–60 a lead on published 2026 benchmarks, booking at around 44%, which puts a won job at roughly $102–136. It works, and we do not sell it. But it bills you again for the next job, and the one after that. A ranking you have earned does not.

How We Work

Four steps, in this order.

We measure before we touch anything

The same checks we ran across those 500 businesses, run against yours and the HVAC companies currently outranking you. You get the findings whether or not you work with us.

We fix what is structurally broken first

Schema, titles, headings, speed, the sitemap. None of it is glamorous and all of it is cheap compared with what it unlocks. There is no point building content on a site Google cannot read.

We build the pages that match the search

A page for each service and each town you can genuinely evidence — not one page per town with the name swapped, which is the thing Google has spent years learning to ignore.

We keep the profile and the reviews moving

Your Google Business Profile does more for map rankings than anything on your website. It needs photos, posts and a steady flow of reviews, every month, not once at setup.

What It Costs

The price, before you have to ask.

Most agencies in this trade will not put a number on a page. We would rather you knew now than spent a call finding out. The website build is free in every plan — no setup fee, no build fee — and you own it from the day it goes live.

Surge · $399/mo

The starting point for a HVAC company ready to invest in growth. $319/mo billed yearly.

Local Leader · $1,499/mo

The complete system, for companies that intend to lead the market rather than appear in it. $1,199/mo billed yearly.

Enterprise · from $5,999/mo

Franchises and operations running five or more locations. From $4,799/mo billed yearly.

No long contracts and no setup fees. If you leave you keep the website, the domain, the Google Business Profile and the analytics — ask every agency you speak to for that in writing. See what is in each plan.

FAQ

HVAC SEO — common questions.

Most HVAC companies see meaningful movement in the Google map pack within 3–6 months, with results compounding after that. HVAC SEO builds a durable, year-round stream of leads that compounds over time — and it keeps working through both cooling and heating season.

We deliver HVAC SEO as part of a monthly Local Leader package rather than a one-off project, so your website, map pack, reviews, and content all work as one system. The investment scales with the leads it produces, and with every missed emergency call costing a $1,200 average ticket, the payback builds quickly. See packages.

Yes. Your Google Business Profile is the single biggest driver of map pack rankings for HVAC contractors, so it's a core part of our HVAC SEO — the right primary category (HVAC Contractor), services, photos, posts, and a steady flow of reviews, all managed for you.

Yes. We map your service area, prioritize the highest-value cities and neighborhoods, and build dedicated, genuinely unique city pages plus the citations and profile signals needed to rank for "AC repair in [city]" searches across your whole territory — not just your home city.

Especially for a small HVAC company. SEO earns you free, high-intent traffic from homeowners actively searching for AC or furnace help, and because HVAC is a speed-to-lead business where most callers book the first responder, ranking at the top directly converts into booked jobs.

Most of what you will be told is the same list: profile, reviews, citations, content. The difference is that we measured the field rather than describing it. We measured 500 small, independent US contractor businesses in October 2026 and we will show you where yours and your competitors' sit against those figures before you decide anything. An agency that cannot tell you what the bar actually is cannot tell you how far above it you need to get.

The build is free and we earn on the monthly marketing that follows. The catch, stated plainly, is that it only works if we are confident we can rank the site — so we do not take on every company that asks. You own the site either way, and that is in writing before you sign.

You keep the website, the domain, the Google Business Profile and the analytics. We will not hold any of it hostage, and you should ask every agency you speak to the same question in writing before you commit.
